·Utilizes a multi-stage, nano-scale "super-mirror" polishing process, achieving a surface roughness (Ra) as low as ≤0.005μm. The surface is free of spiral marks, pitting, or scratches, ensuring the mirror-like flatness is faithfully replicated onto the film substrate. While standard mirror rolls on the market typically achieve an Ra of only 0.01–0.05μm, Guangyu employs a multi-stage, progressive polishing process using diamond micropowder within a sealed, dust-free workshop. The roll surface is devoid of visible micro-textures; consequently, when calendering optical films or high-transparency cast films, defects such as "orange peel" or moiré patterns are eliminated. This ensures the high light transmission and superior surface finish required for premium transparent materials. Following polishing, each roll undergoes three rounds of visual inspection under specialized lighting and a scan using optical inspection equipment to ensure the complete absence of hidden defects.

·Features an optimized design—verified through simulation—of dual-layer, helically symmetrical temperature-control channels, ensuring a temperature variance of ≤±0.5℃ across the entire length of the roll. This design prevents uneven film thickness and localized gloss variations during wide-web, high-speed production—distinctly outperforming standard single-layer cooling rolls. To address common issues such as uneven heat transfer and significant temperature differences between the ends of the roll, a bidirectional symmetrical spiral flow channel design was developed using fluid dynamics simulation modeling. This ensures balanced circulation of the heat-transfer medium and highly uniform surface temperatures across roll widths of up to 3600mm. Capable of continuous operation on high-speed (200m/min) casting and calendering lines, this design effectively resolves industry pain points—such as haziness in the center of the film and inconsistent gloss at the edges—while meeting the rigorous temperature control standards required for optical-grade materials.

·The base material undergoes a multi-stage stress-relief process and is finished with a dense, pinhole-free hard chrome coating, ensuring resistance to peeling or pitting during long-term thermal cycling. A solid-forged 42CrMo roll blank is selected, with ultrasonic testing confirming the absence of internal voids or laminations. Triple stress-relief treatments—comprising rough machining with quenching and tempering, vibratory aging, and low-temperature tempering—prevent micro-deformation caused by prolonged thermal cycling. An automated closed-loop plating line deposits the hard chrome layer, resulting in a dense crystalline structure with a pinhole rate far below the industry average; this provides resistance to mild corrosion from moisture and plastic additives, significantly extending the lifespan of the mirror finish and reducing the frequency of factory returns for repolishing.

·The rolls meet the G2.5 high-speed dynamic balance standard, supporting line speeds of up to 260m/min with minimal vibration, thereby preventing longitudinal oscillation ripples in the film. In contrast, many low-end mirror rolls only achieve G40 or G16 balance ratings, leading to noticeable vibration at high speeds and the formation of surface "water ripples." Guangyu utilizes fully automated German dynamic balancing equipment to calibrate rolls to the G2.5 precision level before shipment. With radial static runout of ≤0.003mm and precision-machined shaft ends, these rolls allow high-speed production lines

·Surface Quality: The mirror finish calendering roller does not engrave any patterns; its core value is delivering ultra-smooth surfaces for high-gloss, high-transparency, high-precision thickness control applications. Ordinary mirror rollers commonly suffer from three major defects: residual spiral marks from polishing, micro-pinholes in the chrome layer, and uneven gloss on finished products due to large temperature differential across wide rollers. Guangyu's complete process systematically addresses these: dust-free polishing environment eliminates particle-induced point defects; progressively refined polishing abrasives gradually eliminate preceding grinding marks; optical instruments scan the entire roller surface, with any micron-level defects reworked. Films, nonwovens, and synthetic leather processed by this roller achieve uniform surface gloss, improved light transmittance, stable printing adhesion, eliminating the need for additional surface coating steps.

·Thermal Stability and Structural Rigidity: The roller uses integral forged structure, rejecting welded or spliced rollers to eliminate stress concentration from weld seams. Long-term stable working temperature range 40~260℃, with cylindricity and straightness maintained after repeated heating and cooling cycles without bending deformation. Journals and roller body are integrally precision-machined with sufficient load capacity margin, supporting high-line-pressure calendering processes. Complete with hydrostatic testing, internal flow channels withstand pressure up to 1.8MPa, with free switching between thermal oil and cooling water, suitable for casting, calendering, and sizing processes.

·Long-Term Production Cost-Effectiveness: Dense chrome layer provides wear and corrosion resistance, with mirror surface effective service life 85% longer than ordinary chrome-plated mirror rollers under normal conditions. Uniform temperature narrows film thickness tolerance with significantly reduced defect rates. High-precision dynamic balancing supports full-speed operation, fully releasing line capacity. Localized repairability reduces complete return frequency and spare roller capital investment.

·Clean Production Adaptability: The smooth, dense roller surface resists material residue adhesion; daily cleaning requires only soft cloth with neutral cleaner, without harboring contaminants. Customizable low-extraction surface treatment solutions for food packaging and medical material requirements, meeting food contact and EU REACH compliance standards.

·Plastic Casting and Biaxially Oriented Films: Compatible with CPP, CPE, BOPET, BOPE, LLDPE, PLA biodegradable cast film lines for sheet cooling, sizing, and surface gloss enhancement. Improves film transparency and surface gloss, eliminating flow marks and fisheye defects; widely supplied to Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern flexible packaging plants.

·Optical Films and New Energy Lithium Battery Materials: Optical protective films, release films, lithium battery separator smoothing and calendering processes with zero tolerance for surface defects. Ultra-low Ra value combined with uniform temperature control ensures film thickness consistency, supplying Japanese, Korean, and domestic new energy material manufacturers.

·Nonwoven and Synthetic Leather Finishing: Spunlace nonwovens, SMS nonwoven thermal smoothing, PU/PVC synthetic leather, TPO automotive skin high-temperature glossing. Achieves smooth, glossy surface while maintaining basic breathability; exported to Turkish and Vietnamese hygiene material and automotive interior enterprises.

·Premium Paper and Decorative Material Calendering: Coated paper, decorative wood grain films, PVC decorative sheets calendering to improve surface smoothness, printing color uniformity, and reduce ink consumption; suitable for building materials and premium printing packaging lines.

·Food and Pharmaceutical Composite Films: Aluminum-plastic composite films, sterile food packaging film calendering and sizing; optional food-grade surface process with no harmful substance extraction, meeting EU food contact material regulations.

·Rubber Sheets and Transparent Sheets Calendering: Transparent rubber sheets, PVC rigid transparent sheets calendering and smoothing to eliminate surface extrusion marks and enhance finished product appearance.
