Nonwoven Winding Machine

Nonwoven Winding Machine

Nonwoven Winding Machine is a dedicated roll formation equipment positioned at the terminal end of nonwoven production lines, converting finished nonwoven webs into compact parent rolls for storage, transport, and downstream converting. Available in standard (300m/min), high-speed (650m/min), and new-generation high-speed (1000m/min) configurations, with maximum roll diameter up to Φ3500mm and working width up to 5400mm, plus specialized three-roll and center-winding models for ultra-wide and heavy-duty applications. The machine features a proprietary three-zone closed-loop tapered tension control system maintaining tension accuracy ≤±2.2%, automatically adjusting winding force as roll diameter increases to prevent telescoping and layer shifting on soft SMS, spunlace, and thermal bond nonwovens. The continuous roll-changing mechanism enables automatic web cutting and roll transfer without production line shutdown, increasing line utilization by 28%. Self-manufactured precision guide rollers with ultrasonic EPC edge correction maintain web deviation ≤±0.3mm across the full width. The stress-relieved heavy-duty frame with integrated welding and annealing ensures long-term dimensional stability under workshop heat, humidity, and dust conditions, passing CE certification for overseas installations.

Product Advantages

·Closed-Loop Tapered Tension Control
The system employs independent servo-controlled tension regulation across unwind, transition, and winding zones with programmable tapered tension curves. As roll diameter increases, winding tension decreases proportionally in real-time to prevent the common defects of inner-layer over-tightening and outer-layer looseness on compressible nonwovens. Tension accuracy is maintained within ≤±2.2%, ensuring lightweight medical nonwovens process without stretching deformation and large rolls finish with square, telescope-free ends.

·Continuous Roll-Changing Mechanism
Conventional winders require full line shutdown for roll removal and new core loading, consuming 8–15 minutes per change. This machine features a dual-station turret winding arm with automatic web cutting and seamless roll transfer without stopping the main calender. The upstream thermal bonding line maintains full production speed throughout the roll change cycle, increasing overall line utilization by 28% and enabling 24/7 continuous production for high-volume hygiene material manufacturing.

·Self-Manufactured Guide Rollers with EPC Correction
All internal guide rollers are precision-machined from internally forged and heat-treated alloy steel, delivering straightness and dynamic balancing precision superior to externally sourced components. Ultrasonic edge position correction maintains web deviation ≤±0.3mm across the full 5400mm width, ensuring finished roll edges remain straight and square for downstream slitting with minimal edge trim waste.

·Tiered Speed and Capacity Architecture
The product line covers standard (300m/min, Φ1500mm), high-speed (650m/min, Φ2000mm), and new-generation high-speed (1000m/min, Φ3500mm) configurations to match different production scales. Maximum roll diameter Φ3500mm enables single-roll weights sufficient for export container loading, reducing handling and slitting frequency. Electrical control systems are fully compatible with the company's thermal calendering and leveling units for seamless line integration.

·Heavy-Duty Stress-Relieved Frame
The frame is constructed from thickened steel plate with full welding and completed stress-relief annealing to eliminate welding-induced internal stress. Frame rigidity is maintained under workshop heat, humidity, and fiber dust conditions common in nonwoven production. Electrical cabinets feature dustproof and moisture-sealed designs for tropical and desert environments. CE certification confirms compliance with overseas plant safety standards.

Application Scenarios

Medical and hygiene nonwoven lines (SMS, spunlace, thermal bond cotton winding for diaper topsheets, masks, medical sheets, wet wipe mother rolls) – supplying EU and Southeast Asian hygiene product manufacturers with consistent roll density and surface quality. Biodegradable and plant-fiber nonwovens (PLA, bamboo-fiber eco-friendly materials) – tapered tension system preserves fiber bulk structure without compaction or stiffening. Industrial geotextiles and filtration nonwovens (heavyweight needle-punched geotextiles, air filter fabrics) – high-capacity frame supports heavy-load winding of thick, dense materials. Synthetic leather base fabrics and home textile nonwovens – post-calendering winding for storage and downstream coating/embossing. Air-laid paper and food-contact wiping materials – precision low-tension winding for lightweight, tear-sensitive substrates.
