·Dual‑process composite matte forming delivers precisely controllable roughness Ra within ±0.05 μm, with uniform matte finish across the entire roller and no localised bright spots or patch defects. Conventional matte rollers on the market mostly use a single ordinary sandblasting process, resulting in uneven surface roughness and localised polishing brightening after long‑term operation. Guangyu Matte Finish Calendering Roller employs precision sandblasting plus secondary laser fine texturing, achieving regular micro‑uneven structure arrangement. It can stably lock any target roughness within Ra0.3 μm~Ra3.0 μm range, with axial and circumferential roughness fluctuation strictly controlled within ±0.05 μm across the entire roller. The calendered films and nonwovens exhibit uniformly soft matte finish without defects such as bright centre and inconsistent matte at both ends, meeting the stable mass production requirements of high‑end matte packaging and matte synthetic leather.

·Thickened hard chrome layer combined with dense matte microstructure provides natural anti‑stick properties, preventing material adhesion and adhesive residue accumulation on high‑speed lines. Compared to high‑gloss mirror rollers that tend to adsorb film additive extracts and cause electrostatic adhesion, this roller's micro‑peak‑valley structure forms a micro‑air cushion that reduces substrate‑to‑roller contact area. The 0.12~0.18 mm thickened hard chrome layer with HRC62~66 hardness prevents material adhesion when continuously processing PLA biodegradable films, PVC, EVA, and PU synthetic leather, reducing cleaning downtime by 65 % compared to mirror finish calendering rollers under identical conditions.

·Double‑layer spiral balanced temperature‑control channels achieve whole‑roller surface temperature differential ≤±0.6 ℃, eliminating gloss deviation in wide‑width high‑speed calendering. The integrally forged roller features internally milled double‑layer spiral heat exchange channels with dead‑free thermal fluid circulation. The maximum effective width of 3400 mm ultra‑wide roller maintains stable temperature fluctuation within ±0.6 ℃ across the full length. Under continuous calendering conditions at 20~180 m/min, films and nonwovens receive uniform transverse heating, completely resolving the common problem of inconsistent haze between left and right sides of wide‑width materials, suitable for overseas factories' wide‑width extrusion and casting lines.

·Low‑stress roller structure maintains radial runout ≤0.0035 mm during long‑term continuous operation at 190 ℃, ensuring lasting calendering flatness. The roller blank undergoes triple vibration stress relief plus low‑temperature stress‑relief heat treatment to eliminate welding and machining internal stress. Unlike ordinary welded rollers that tend to bend and deform at high temperatures, this roller exhibits minimal deformation under long‑term constant temperature conditions. Calendering pressure is uniformly transmitted to the substrate surface, resulting in consistent thickness and flatness without strip marks or wavy patterns, suitable for high‑precision optical matte films and high‑end hygiene nonwoven smoothing production.

·Wear‑resistant matte surface with strong stability resists “polishing failure” during long‑term mass production, extending matte effect maintenance cycle by 9 months compared to ordinary sandblasted matte rollers. Under continuous compression and friction, the micro‑protrusions of simple sandblasted rollers quickly wear flat, causing gradual brightening within a short period and requiring frequent return‑to‑factory re‑sandblasting. Guangyu's laser‑textured microstructure forms metallurgical bonding with the chrome layer, resisting continuous compression and friction. Numerous film customers have verified continuous production for 9 months under normal conditions without rework, significantly reducing roller repair logistics costs and production line downtime losses.

·Surface Haze Controllability
The core function of the Matte Finish Calendering Roller is not pattern embossing but substrate surface smoothing combined with imparting stable, soft matte texture. Guangyu can customise multiple matte grades according to customer end‑product requirements: fine matte Ra0.3~0.8 μm for high‑end food matte films and electronic release films; standard grade Ra0.8~1.8 μm for nonwovens, PU synthetic leather, and decorative sheets; coarse matte Ra1.8~3.0 μm for anti‑slip matte panels and agricultural functional films. Each roller is delivered with multi‑point roughness inspection records to ensure consistent effect across the same batch, facilitating interchangeability across multiple production lines.

·Process Adaptability and Cost‑Effectiveness
The hard chrome layer resists plasticisers, oils, and hydrolysis extracts, preventing pitting and cratering during long‑term production. Compatible with both thermal oil heating and cooling water circulation, covering high‑temperature calendering and cooling sizing processes. Surface contaminants can be directly wiped with neutral cleaner without heavy polishing. Localised minor damage supports localised repair and re‑texturing without complete roller reprocessing. Eliminates common defects such as bright spots, localised high‑gloss areas, and transverse gloss unevenness, reducing matte film and nonwoven reject rates by up to 78 %.

·Dimensional Precision Assurance
Factory standard inspection includes roundness tester, runout tester, infrared thermal imager, and surface roughness tester for comprehensive inspection. Roller body straightness ≤0.003 mm, journal coaxiality ≤0.0035 mm, dynamic balancing grade reaches G1.0 standard, vibration‑free at high speed, preventing periodic transverse marks on substrates.

·Plastic Film Industry
LLDPE, CPP, CPE, PLA biodegradable matte films, matte food composite films, matte release film calendering and sizing. Replaces traditional matte masterbatch addition with physical calendering for matte effect, helping customers reduce raw material formulation costs; widely supplied to Southeast Asian and European flexible packaging plants.

·Nonwoven Finishing Lines
Spunbond, spunlace, SMS nonwoven matte smoothing for baby care fabrics, medical top sheet nonwovens, household wiping cloths. After calendering, the fabric surface is flat with soft gloss while maintaining reasonable breathability, avoiding excessive glossiness and stiff hand‑feel caused by mirror roller calendering.

·PU/PVC Synthetic Leather and Automotive Interior Skins
Matte synthetic leather, TPO interior film surface smoothing and matting to create delicate matte skin‑feel. The finished product presents a understated premium appearance, suitable for automotive seat interiors and luggage fabric production lines, with stable supply to multiple tanneries in Turkey and Southeast Asia.

·Decorative Panels and Plastic Sheets
PVC decorative sheets, wood‑plastic panels, ABS matte panels calendering and smoothing for low‑reflection decorative panels, avoiding glare under strong light conditions.

·Functional Agricultural Films
Matte thermal insulation agricultural films, light‑blocking matte mulch films calendering treatment to regulate light transmission effects, meeting special optical requirements for cash crop cultivation.

·Premium Paper and Composite Substrates
Matte gift cards, aluminium‑plastic composite substrates surface smoothing to enhance paper texture, widely used in premium printing and flexible packaging.
