The machine belongs to our Embossing and Calendering Equipment range and is engineered for continuous metal sheet and panel processing. It embosses aluminium sheet, galvanized steel, color-coated steel, stainless steel, cold-rolled steel and copper strip in widths from 800 mm to 1500 mm and thicknesses from 0.1 mm to 3.0 mm. One-key mode switching allows single-sided texture, or synchronized double-sided embossing in the same pass. For double-sided work the system controls registration to 0.015 mm, avoiding secondary processing and material loss.
A Machine Built Around the Roll
Instead of assembling bought-in components, we manufacture the complete roll set in-house. Each roller is integrally forged from 42CrMo alloy steel, five-axis laser engraved and hardened to HRC60-65, then matched with its hydraulic pressure and drive system before shipment.
- Servo-hydraulic closed-loop pressure control from 50T to 120T, with pressure fluctuation below 3%.
- Upper and lower synchronous drive for double-sided registration, plus variable-frequency speed control to 80 m/min.
- Heavy-duty annealed frame with full stress relief; frame deformation is controlled within 0.03 mm under full-load running.
- Optional heated rolls from 40°C to 160°C for processes that need controlled temperature.

After matching the roll set to the production machine, pattern depth deviation across the 0.1-3.0 mm sheet range is held within ±0.02 mm. The standard texture library covers more than 30,000 patterns including wood grain, brick, pebble, willow leaf, diamond anti-slip, orange peel and brushed finishes.

Our closed-loop manufacturing covers roller blank forging, precision grinding, mirror polishing, laser engraving, hard chrome plating and final inspection. Complete machine-roller matching and commissioning are performed before delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can one machine emboss both 0.1 mm aluminium foil and 3.0 mm steel plate?
Yes. The working thickness range is 0.1-3.0 mm. The servo-hydraulic system adjusts pressure in real time, so thin aluminium is processed without stretching and 3.0 mm steel reaches full pattern depth without breakthrough.
How is double-sided registration controlled?
The upper and lower rollers use a synchronized transmission closed-loop system. One-key switching changes the machine between single-sided and double-sided modes, and normal double-sided registration error is controlled to 0.015 mm.
Can we supply a custom embossing pattern?
Yes. Our standard library contains more than 30,000 textures, and we can develop a custom engraving from a drawing, photo, film or flat sample. The same pattern can then be transferred to new Embossing Roller sets.
What does the machine do to sheet value?
Embossing adds bending strength, anti-slip performance and a decorative surface. For typical decoration panels and tread plates, the embossed sheet increases market value by about 25-40% compared with a plain sheet.
Do you support commissioning and maintenance after export?
Our technical team handles installation coordination, commissioning support and after-sales service. Replacement rollers, re-engraving and re-plating are also available from our in-house electroplating and laser departments.
