The three-stage closed-loop tension system features independent floating roller sensors at the unwinding, slitting, and rewinding stations, providing real-time feedback for tension adjustment. This architecture is designed to manage tension fluctuations common when processing stretchable non-woven materials. A programmable progressive taper tension function automatically adjusts winding tension as the roll diameter increases, minimizing interlayer shifting and density unevenness in the finished rolls. A modular, quick-change cutter assembly allows for width adjustments without dismantling the entire shaft, while a pneumatic blade-pressing structure ensures consistent cutting pressure across the web width. The cutter shaft undergoes dynamic balancing and quenching, with axial runout ≤3μm, providing the mechanical precision necessary for high-quality edge trimming. The welded frame undergoes 60 days of natural aging to eliminate welding stresses and ensure long-term dimensional stability. A 7-inch touchscreen interface stores up to 50 process recipes and includes built-in fault diagnosis and production counting functions. A fiber collection system is included to extract cutting debris in real-time.

This equipment is commonly used by non-woven fabric processors handling a diverse range of materials at a medium production scale. It is suitable for slitting standard-grade hygiene materials—such as SMS, spunlace, and hot-air through-bonded fabrics—for use in diaper components, sanitary products, and medical substrates. Its web width makes it particularly well-suited for handling large-format master rolls from wide-width nonwoven production lines. It is also suitable for processing biodegradable nonwovens—used in products such as eco-friendly shopping bags and agricultural covers—with adjustable tension settings that accommodate softer bio-based materials. Automotive interior materials, such as sound-insulating felt and headliner nonwovens, also fall within its processing capabilities. Additionally, the equipment can process nonwovens for packaging and home applications, including curtain interlinings and storage fabrics. The machine's line speed and roll diameter capacity align well with the operational needs of medium-sized processing plants and production models involving frequent material switching.
